GGL-Gemini project Sim
The GGL Sim is on the way, has been signed by at least 3 GGL participants, plus others. Mytiggerbuddy has it now, and will hopefully send it out soon. A good suggestion was made today to copy the Sim and send it out to all possible addresses that we have for the PTB...I hope we will get some responses from some of them! An idea just occurred to me, maybe we need to send a SASE with the Sim and especially with the real GGL so that whoever gets it can write a quick note to let us know what will happen to it...will have to mention this at next GGL chat. GGL-Gemini "Sim"
So...we're simulating the " GGL-Gemini" before we send the real thing around the world...I find it utterly cool that we can actually use words from our favorite show in our campaign to bring it back...like naming the GGL: GGL-Gemini because it will be "cloned" along the way, and now having the GGL Sim to simulate the real event! |

Giant Letter and Red Notebook projects
The 10th anniversary is almost upon us and I hope we can get enough signatures for the "Giant Letter to the PTB" in time to send it off for the 19th, and enough submissions for the "Red Notebook" projects (regular and digital versions) Pretender fans around the world, this is our chance to prove to Fox that "The Pretender" is worth it to them!! Let's show them how much we care. We must try to make this anniversary special, and make it count. If you know of another way besides what we are planning, then tell the fan community and let's try to do that too...whatever it takes to get us closure, we need to do!! We must unite! Local ads campaign and more
Region 1 is now enjoying S2 DVDs, Fox has given fans a new forum, and Pretender fans are still fired up about getting closure in the form of a third movie/miniseries. Another way to raise cash for a third Pretender movie...
Fired up!! That's me! Which is why I cannot give up on "The Pretender" and our dream of a final movie! Recently discovered a website: igive.com which allows one to accumulate cash credits by shopping online through the website and the cash goes towards your favorite cause. This is one way to feel less guilty about shopping online all the time (I think I need this!) because you get to give back and your donations are tax-deductible (US residents) so that's a plus for some people! My main goal is to now convince the online "Pretender" fan community that we can use this site to help raise funds for our cause, the third and final "Pretender" movie! Even if we raise just a few dollars between us, it can add up to something big together with our campaign pledges. Or maybe we can use the money to run an ad that can help us reach Pretender fans who are still not aware of what we are doing. Even if we don't raise that much, it's just one more way for tP fans everywhere to unite and show the ptbs that we are trying our best to earn our dream! And think how great it would be to be able to make a donation to a charity favored by the tP actors in the name of all tP fans. That's kinda our last resort though or in the event that we don't actually need to contribute bec some studio or other finally came to its senses and realized what a goldmine "the Pretender" series really is!!!
